Lineage:
He is – Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdullāh Ibn ‘Abdul-Muttalib Ibn Hāshim, and Hāshim is from Quraysh, and Quraysh is from the Arabs, and the Arabs are from the descendants of Ismā’īl Ibn Ibrāhīm Al-Khalīl (the beloved), upon him and our Prophet the best of praise and peace.
Birth:
He was born in the Year of the Elephant in Makkah in Rabi’ al-Awwal. He lived 63 years. From them, 40 years prior to becoming a prophet, and 23 years a prophet and a messenger.
A Prophet ﷺ was sent to all mankind and jinn:
He was sent to the whole of mankind and Jinn. Whoever hears of his message and does not accept it, is a disbeliever.
His Message:
He invited to worship Allāh alone, good manners, and good deeds. He warned from worshiping other than Allāh, bad manners, and evil deeds.
He is the last Messenger:
Allāh has completed the religion with him. He has conveyed the clear message, has completed his mission, has advised the people, and has struggled in the path of Allāh in every possible way. It is not possible for anyone to introduce in this religion any act of worship.
Main Battles:
They are seven: Badr, Uhud, Al-Khandaq, Khaybar, the Conquest of Makkah, Tabūk, and Hunain.
Seven Children:
Al-Qāsim, Ibrāhīm, Abdullah and he is also known as Tayyib Tāhir, Zaynab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthūm Fātimah; all of whom passed away during his life time except Fātimah who passed away six months after his death– may Allāh be pleased with all of them -.
His Wives:
Khadījah, ‘A’ishah, Sawdah, Hafsah, Zaynab Al Hilālīyyah, Umm Salamah, Zaynab bint Jahsh, Juwayriyah bint Al-Hārith, Safīyyah bint Huyay, Umm Habibah, Rayhānah bint Zayd, and Maimunah bint Al-Hārith – may Allāh be pleased with all of them- .
The first who believed in him:
From the men Abū Bakr As-Siddīq. From the women the mother of the believers Khadījah bint Khuwaylid From the children Alī ibn Abī Tālib.
His Hajj and ‘Umrah:
He made ‘Umrah 4 times; all of them in Dhul Qa’dah. He made only 1 Hajj, which is called the farewell Hajj, in the 10th year of Hijrah.
The passing of the Prophet ﷺ:
He died on 12th Rabī’ al-Awwal in the 11th year after the migration at the age of 63 years old.
