ALLAH IS THE ONE THAT GUIDES, NOT YOU

I was thinking about this ayaah all day and night after as it came up over lunch with some brothers,

“Surely you do not guide whomever you love, but Allah guides whomever He decides, and He knows best the ones (who are) rightly-guided”

There are in our lives people whom we love and want guidance for, this is definitely the case with reverts who would love for their family members to be guided,

Then there are individuals in raised Muslim households that are far from the religion, and you wish guidance for,

It’s clear from the ayaah we love guidance for those we love,

but after some pondering and looking at it from another angle, I came to understand guidance in another way,

How many times do we hear of married couples who live in toxic relationships, say they worry that if they leave, the other will be misguided,

and if they have children in such relationships, this fear is intensified, and they also think the same. “If I leave, then children will be misguided…..”

But here’s the thing,

What gives the guarantee that if you dont leave, they will be guided?

This is a heavy realisation that I think most people don’t see, again,

“Surely you do not guide whomever you love, but Allah guides whomever He decides, and He knows best the ones (who are) rightly-guided”

What’s to say, perfect relationships means you will have a perfect rightous spouse or perfect rightous off-spring?

again, “you do not guide whoever you love…” cementing that guidance is from Allah, he guides who he pleases, guides those who we love or hate, guides those in perfect scenarios or terrible scenarios, and the opposite it true,

whether we are in the picture or not makes absolutely no difference to who is guided and who isn’t, and this is hard to grasp and come to terms with. We simply do not guide!

But surely there is some sort of effort on our part that we must do, right?

Absolutely right, what we need to realise is our part involves us doing our bit to the best of our abilities, we need to try to direct towards the right and away from the evil, if they are guided Alhumdulilah, but if they are not, we stand without fault, we can stand in front of Allah (swt) and confidently say, “O ALLAH I TRIED” and that’s the key.

On the Day of Judgement no one will be concerned about anyone except themselves,

On that day we all will flee from those we love today in the Dunya, from our brothers, parents, from our spouse, and even our children.

In the effort in trying to save those around us who we love, what’s more important, and this will sound selfish, but we need to save ourselves first,

Allah says,

“O, believers! Save yourselves and your families from a fire, whose fuel is men and stones; upon it are fierce and mighty angels who never disobey Allāh’s command and who promptly do what they are commanded to do.”

We are not sailors that need to go down with the ship, we are Muslims that need to save ourselves from the Hellfire, do your bit leave the rest with Allah(swt).

And Allah knows best.

CALLING THE LEADERS OUT PUBLICLY

“One day Umar Stood up to deliver a sermon; in it, he said,

‘O people, whoever among you sees any crookedness in me in my character, my deals, my action, then let him straighten out that crookedness.’

A man from the audience called out, “by Allaah, were we to see any crookedness in you, we would have straightened it out with our swords.’

Umar then said, All praise is for Allaah, who has placed in this nation someone who will straighten the crookedness of Umar with his sword.’”

Akhbaar Umar (pg 231,232) and Ar-Riyaadh an Nadirah.

Todays Murjiah / Madkhalis would say this man is a khariji because he spoke up against the ruler, they would say he had no right as only the Ulema can speak, in private of course, with the leaders

When will such people succumb to the truth rather than make un just excuses

SAJDAT AL SHUKR

It is mentioned from the Sunnah to make a prostration of thankfulness, Sajdat al-Shukr.

THE MESSENGER –
Abu Bakrah (RA) he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), when news reached him that his troops had prevailed over their enemy, he was lying with his head in ‘Aa’ishah’s lap, then he got up and fell in prostration.
(Reported by Ahmad, 5/45; al-Haakim, 4/291).

THE COMPANIONS –
Abu Bakr (RA) prostrated when he heard the news that Musaylimah had been killed.
(Reported by Sa’eed ibn Mansoor in his Sunan).

‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (RA) prostrated when he found Dhu’l-Thadiyah among the Khawaarij.
(Reported by Ahmad in al-Musnad)

Ka’b ibn Maalik (RA) prostrated at the time of the Prophet (SAW) when he was given the glad tidings that Allaah had accepted his repentance.

We can see from the best of creation and then the greatest of people that walked this earth after the Prophets and Messengers, their prostration of thankfulness was tied to the pleasure of Allah (SWT),

Today, it’s tied to a ball, a goal, or a win in a game invented by the British.

GO BITE ON YOUR FATHERS PENIS

A message for those flying their nationalistic flags and feeling honour with their tribal lineage, I say to you all

GO BITE ON YOUR FATHERS PENIS!

It was narrated from Ubayy ibn Ka‘b that a man boasted in an ignorant manner of his tribal lineage, so he told him to bite his father’s male member, and he did not use a metaphor.

The people looked askance at him, so he said to the people: I can see what you are thinking, and I can only say this: that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) instructed us:

“If you hear someone boasting in an ignorant manner of his tribal lineage, then tell him to bite his father’s male member, and do not use a metaphor.”

Narrated by Ahmad (35/157); classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad.

It was narrated from Ubayy (RA) that a man boasted of his tribal lineage, and Ubayy told him to bite his father’s male member, and they said: You were never given to obscene speech! He said: We were instructed to do that.
Narrated by Ahmad (35/142);

classed as hasan by the commentators on al-Musnad and as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami‘

As for the call of NATIONALISM,

The Messenger of Allah (saaw) referring to nationalism, racism, and patriotism said: “Leave it, it is rotten.” [Muslim and Bukhari].

Jubair ibn Mut’im reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى عَصَبِيَّةٍ وَلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ قَاتَلَ عَلَى عَصَبِيَّةٍ وَلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ مَاتَ عَلَى عَصَبِيَّةٍ

“He is not one of us who calls to tribalism. He is not one of us who fights for the sake of tribalism. He is not one of us who dies following the way of tribalism”

In another Hadith, the Prophet (saw) said:

وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعِينُ قَوْمَهُ عَلَى غَيْرِ الْحَقِّ كَمَثَلِ بَعِيرٍ رُدِّيَ فِي بِئْرٍ فَهُوَ يَنْزِعُ مِنْهَا بِذَنَبِهِ

“The parable of the one who supports his people upon other than the truth is that of a dead camel which falls into a well and is pulled out by its tail”

Source: Musnad Ah‌mad 3670, Grade: Sahih

Also, the Messenger of Allah (saaw) said, narrated by At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud:

“There are indeed people who boast of their dead ancestors; but in the sight of Allah they are more contemptible than the black beetle that rolls a piece of dung with its nose. Behold, Allah has removed from you the arrogance of the Time of Jahiliyyah (Ignorance) with its boast of ancestral glories. Man is but an Allah-fearing believer or an unfortunate sinner. All people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created out of dust.”

Finally dont let a game played by nations coming together fool you to believe sport brings us together,

Rather it is a distraction, the next time you see a cheer for a little white ball being kicked into a goal, that is not a victory,

remember that the kuffar and Munafiqeen are playing thier game against the Ummah,

Muslims suffer everyday by bombs and missiles hitting their goal, those suffering have no cheer…..

May Allah(swt) forgive us

THE HIJAB IS NOT A CHOICE

HIJAB IS NOT A CHOICE

“There shall come upon people years of deceit in which the liar will be believed, the truthful one disbelieved, the treacherous will be trusted and the trustworthy one considered treacherous; and the Ruwaybidah will speak out.’
It was said: Who are the Ruwaybidah? The Prophet ﷺ replied:

‘The lowly, contemptible one who shall speak out about public affairs”
(Ibn Majah, Ahmed, Al Hakim)

The famous “Muslim” celebratities of today are corrupting the Muslim masses and need to keep thier mouths closed!

Just because you are a popular comedian, TV superstar, or hold a PHD in some sort of secular study, this does not give you an authority to speak on issues concerning the religion of Allah, without having prior knowledge of Islamic principles and foundations,

The Hijab for a woman is definitely not a choice, the Muslim woman is obligated to wear the Hijab, this is an order from Allah the Most High and is definitely not a choice

What is a Muslim womans choice regarding Hijab, is to SIN or not to SIN

Either follow the order of Allah (swt) and be rewarded or dont follow them and be sinful

The HIJAB for a woman is an obligation, there is no room for the views of anyone regarding this issue,

Leave Islam alone, if you are happy having your stings pulled by the kuffar, if you are happy in your hypocrisy, if you are happy following other than the way of the believers, don’t drag the Muslims down to your low level, keep your unislamic opinions to yourself and stop speaking on behalf of Islam.
